New fields of analytical thinking and conceptual in tourism are proposed in recent years. Among these new fields, it is worth noting the role played by ICT and the so-called e-tourism in the company's competitiveness. Interest in these research topics has been justified by its relevance to both strategic management and academic research.
The objective of this paper is to generate a conceptual framework on ICT development in the tourism market. In this line, it is emphasized the need to estimate the level of ICT usage in tourism companies and, in particular, in the hotel industry.
The usefulness of this proposal lays in the benefits that greater knowledge about the implementation of ICT solutions in the tourism industry might involve for the scientific community and for practitioners, since it gathers the existing evidence about ICT and several variables of relationship marketing.
