Ups..

I continue

I have listened that that webpage (where designers of tools for Second Life as you sell the tools) is going to ask for money to the designers for doing that activity. What do you think about that?

And.. Have you tried other Virtual World, appart from Second Life? If yes,..Which and what are you fellings regarding it or them?

Thanks in advance

I design lots of tools inworld, usually to custom requests, for which i'm available inworld under the username: "Mobius Ryba".

My favorite tool i created has actually been a sheep herding simulator - an item which generates a random herd of sheep that respond to avatars and can herded - it's a lot of fun and good to teach avatar movement.

Though I used to list a few items on Xstreetsl.com - recent changes to their terms of service which can be read here: https://blogs.secondlife.com/message/39388 have meant that I have pulled all of my listings from their site, as are many other free, and low cost makers.

Of course - my tools are still available direct from me :)

I think it's fair that designers of tools can charge an amount of money in proportion to the amount of time spent and to cover any costs they have encountered while developing the tool, such as texture and animation uploads, I disagree with overcharging for a tool because it makes some useful things unreachable for people on a lower budget, or for people who require multiple tools.

My previous backgrounds in virtual worlds previous to SL have been mainly for personal pleasure: Runescape and EvE Online, neither of which have held my attention for long ;)

I enjoy SL most because of it's vast potential for user content, and the social aspect, talking to so many different people is quite addictive :)
