Very interesting, Bex, your presentation on what you are doing at Cornwall College.
Although we know that teaching and interaction is a bit different in SL and RL (in my opinion, is far more difficult in SL than in RL) this could (and will, for sure) be a very interesting part of the training of future teachers.
SL in a (hopefully near) future will be part of most of online course, and there will be the need of specifically trained teachers, who know the difference between teaching in RL and SL, and who have the tecnical ability to do a class in SL.
For trainer students, SL teaching is a very good experience, since you cannot let (almost) anything to improvisation, and this will reinforce the idea that a thoroughly well planned class is the key to successful teaching.

He trabajado con moodle, la principal desventaja seria la seguridad, ademas de contar con excelente capacidad de respuesta en los equipos de computo, obviamente no hablamos de esta tecnologia en paises tercermundistas como MEXICO, seguira siendo un gran reto la introduccion, sobre todo para desmitificar este tipo de tecnologias..
