Estamos buscando ejemplos de objetos, herramientas, máquinas, software, que han sido modificados por sus usuarios para darles un uso diferente al que tenían originariamente.
Nos preguntamos si la actitud "hacker" de apropiación creativa del software va más allá de las tecnologías electrónicas y entronca con un tipo de creatividad propia de la especia. Estamos buscando ejemplos en todos los ámbitos donde los usuarios hayan modificado un artefacto para darle un uso diferente al que tenía.
¿Conoces algún caso? Os invitamos a ver los casos recogidos y añadir otros. Os invitamos también a debatir sobre estas cuestiones como actividad paralela al Congreso.

Anecdotarium de proyectos colaborativos y comunidades virtuales
We want stories! Firsthand personal narratives- of some experience or other, adventures, problems, confusions and fears- at the heart of virtual communities and collaborative projects that have ended up being worthy of mention or funny. Anecdotes are a great source of wisdom, and our intention is to learn through these stories about collaborative projects concerning ICT. We know very little about how they are organized, nor do we know anything about their day-to-day or their way of doing things ... What we believe is that they have plenty of interesting anecdotes up their sleeves to tell us.

Analog crisis, digital future. Visions
We are searching for images. Images that allow us to show in the broadest way possible the values, tools, aesthetics, uses and behaviours, realities and dreams of the changing processes that we are currently going through: analog crisis, digital future. Presently in transition.
Please send your images or point us to pictures that we can debate and collaboratively create a "2009 Photo Album" which will illustrate the old and new models, and also the transition processes that we are going through from the analog to the digital age.
Hacker's ethics vs Salander ethics
This parallel activity has the form of an open workshop, a discussion around two similar works:
- The novels of Stieg Larsson, the Millennium trilogy
- The hacker ethic, an essay of Pekka Himanen
We would like to put face to face two ethical models as a discussion topic: the personal ethic that Larsson has created for Lisbeth Salander, on one hand, and on the other the hacker's ethic that Himanen has compiled and which, reproducing his own words, "means a challenge for our society and for each one of us". What does the motto suggest you?
This fourth edition of the congress, is presented in a somewhat provocative slogan:
""Analogic crisis, digital future.".
The sentence is the result of previous consultation in the first phase of the congress, during which, more than 500 proposals for a motto were proposed and selected by the coordination of Congress for a final vote, which involved members of Committee to Support the Organization..
The result of that experience and in view of the controversies and debates that arose during the selection process of the theme, it was decided in line with the Living Congress philosophia, to provide a space for opinions about the same, positioning for or against in relation to the concept.
