What technological aids and ICT projects have been created recently to enhance the autonomy of people with FD?

How to use virtual reality in rehabilitation and in the environment control?

What progress has been made regarding the rights of persons with FD and how influence ICT and the Knowledge Society?

How can we get accessible Internet? What needs to change?

Older people, want and demand in ICT services and training to facilitate their social relationships and e-inclusion?

Are the low-cost products, Open Software and Open Standards, the solution for the high cost of technological aids that require people with FD?

How do we service the special educatioanal awareness in the school stage? ¿We facilitate the inclusion of children in the Information Society? We have well trained teachers and aids in the classroom?.

Work Group description

The group "ICT and Functional Diversity" wants to disseminate information and research on the applications of Information and Communication Technologies for functional diversity people (people with disabilities) to improve the personal autonomy and its application as a tool for rehabilitation . The potential of ICT can improve the quality of life in a society where the group of older people and people with disabilities is increasing.
