In accordance with the provisions contained in the LOPD (Data Protection Act 15/1999 ,dated December 13th), the OCS, owner of the domain of this website, is committed to respecting the legislation in force on matters of protection and confidentiality when processing personal data, on the protection of personal data, and its enforcing regulations.
The personal information you provide on the website request form will be subject to automatic processing and will be included in a personal computerised file of which the OCS is the responsible holder. The personal data supplied shall be used with the exclusive purpose of upholding the administrative relationship needed to process information requests, to share information among the OCS members by means of the e-distribution list, to correctly process registrations requests  for  the IV Cibersociedad Congress  and to send and provide information about the Congress and workgroups communications and publications, as appropriate.
By submitting your data, you expressely consent OCS to follow through its process, and to disclose your  information to other parties within the EL OCS Group, if solely for the purpose of conducting the activities detailed above.
Personal data shall be processed using the legally required degree of confidentiality, and appropriate technical and organizational security measures have been taken to avoid the improper use, alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access and theft by third parties, which could use this information for fraudulent purposes or purposes other than those for which the information has been provided by the user.
OCS will store the data provided by users when requesting information, some of which being needed for the proper request processing. The user is conveniently warned  of the necessity of the provision of such data. An e-mail address will be used to  give out a response to the user's request, and to pass information between the OCS members and registered parties, as well as to inform them on any changes that may happen. 
Under no circumstances are cookies or other similar means used to store information that would allow the physical person using this website to be identified, nor their navigation history, withouth the knowledge of the user. Notwithstanding this, the OCS is commited to keep the users updated on whatever changes that this Policy should be subject to, this paragraph included, through the OCS website. 
Should interested parties wish for any clarification on the confidentiality of processing of their data, or should interested parties wish to exercise any of the rights of information, opposition, access, rectification or cancellation which they legally possess (or any other right they believe that they hold), they may address themselves, or their representatives, a written and signed request to OBSERVATORIO PARA LA CIBERSOCIEDAD Plaça de Can Suris s/n (CITILAB CORNELLÀ) 08940 Cornellà de Llobregat Ref.
